Lasst uns lateinamerikanische Lieder auf eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre lernen.
Dieser Workshop wurde als Raum zum Austausch von Kenntnissen und Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet der lateinamerikanischen Musik geschaffen. Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen, die Marta und Gabo in einer langen Laufbahn auf dem Feld der hispanischen und lateinamerikanischen Musik gesammelt haben.
Es richtet sich sowohl an Sängerinnen und Sänger als auch an Instrumentalisten verschiedener Niveaus und bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, mehr über lateinamerikanische Stile und Rhythmen zu erfahren.
Es fokussiert hauptsächlich auf das Unterrichten von Liedern auf Spanisch. Es ist nicht notwendig, spanischsprachig zu sein. Der Text und die Phonetik des Liedtextes werden während des Erlernens der Melodie gelehrt.
Die Musikstile sind vielfältig und umfassen u.a. den kubanischen Son oder Bolero, den venezolanischen Walzer oder Joropo, den kolumbianischen Porro, die Chacarera oder die argentinische Zamba usw.
Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit, rhythmische Begleitungen mit stiltypischen Perkussionsinstrumenten und/oder anderen Handmusikinstrumenten wie Maracas, Clave und Palmas zu erlernen. Handmusikinstrumenten mit denen sich die Sängerinnen und Sänger in der Regel selbst begleiten
Die Instrumentalisten werden Begleitungen und Melodien spielen können.
Partituren und Texte werden verfügbar sein, sowohl für diejenigen, die Musik lesen, als auch für diejenigen, die nach Gehör lernen.

This workshop was created as a space to share knowledge and experiences in the field of Latin American music, which Gabo and Marta have accumulated through their longtime involvement with these genres.
It is aimed at both singers and instrumentalists of different levels and offers participants the opportunity to learn more about Latin American styles and rhythms.
It is mainly focused on teaching songs (in Spanish), in styles such as Cuban son and bolero, Venezuelan vals and joropo, Colombian porro, Argentinean chacarera and zamba, among others. Previous experience with Spanish isn’t necessary, as we focus on teaching the text phonetically and select a portion of the lyrics.
The participants will learn hand percussion rhythms typical of each style such as maracas, clave and palmas, which the singers usually use to accompany themselves. Percussionists will also have a chance to learn patterns on the bombo leguero or cajon.
Instrumentalists will be able to practice accompaniments, melodies and phrasing..
Sheet music and lyrics will be available, both for those who read music and for those who learn by ear.

Aprendamos canciones latinoamericanas en un ambiente agradable y relajado.
Este taller se creó como un espacio para compartir conocimientos y experiencias en el campo de la música latinoamericana, que Marta y Gabo han acumulado en una larga trayectoria en el ámbito musical hispánico y latinoamericano.
Esta dirigido tanto a cantantes como instrumentistas de diferentes niveles y ofrece a los participantes, la oportunidad de aprender más sobre los estilos y ritmos latinoamericanos.
Se centra principalmente en la enseñanza de canciones en español. No es necesario ser hispanoparlante. Se enseñará el texto y la fonética de la letra a la vez que se aprende la melodía.
Los estilos musicales son variados y abarcan entre otros el son o el bolero cubano, el vals o el joropo venezolano, el porro colombiano, la chacarera o la zamba argentina, etc.
Los participantes tienen las posibilidad de aprender acompañamientos rítmicos con instrumentos de percusión típicos de cada estilo y/u otros instrumentos de mano como las maracas, la clave y las palmas, que los cantantes suelen utilizar para acompañarse.
Los instrumentistas podrán practicar acompañamientos y melodías.
Se dispondrá de partituras y letras, tanto para los que leen música como para los que aprenden de oído.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚 is one of the most unique singers and songwriters of her generation. She has been heavily influenced by Czech and Slavic musical traditions, as well as Latin American folk music. Her musical beginnings were in two youth choirs, where she sang and recorded classical and folk music for eight years. Afterwards, she focused on studying voice, guitar, Venezuelan cuatro and dance in Spain and the United States with various teachers. In 1996, Marta established herself on the New York City music scene, where she collaborated with some of the best musicians from the Latin, jazz and world-music circles, and this experience forged a dynamic mix of styles in her work. Marta has written over ninety original songs, recorded nine CDs for numerous labels, and been featured on radio and television programs worldwide. She returned to Europe in 2012, where she leads and composes for several projects, which feature the most prominent musicians from Eastern Europe as well as Latin America. Marta has toured the U.S., Europe, Argentina and Thailand.
𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐚𝐬 was born in Patagonia, Argentina. He studied in various musical conservatories in Córdoba, Argentina, where he developed his unique talent as a multi-instrumentalist. The guitar, voice and saxophone are his main instruments, but he also plays the Bolivian charango, clarinet, violin, bass guitar and bombo drum. From 2005-2008 he lived in Buenos Aires, where he established himself on the music scene and composed for his Latin Jazz ensemble. For the last eleven years, Gabo has been based in Berlin, where he has lead a Latin jazz quartet, written music for films, and collaborated with a wide range of musicians, among them Cuban and African groups. Most recently, Gabo has decided to focus on his vocal and guitar repertoire, which consists of original arrangements of traditional South American songs, namely Argentinean chacarera, zamba, chamamé, gato, vals, as well as Andean huayno and carnavalito, interpreting these styles in a modern way, without losing the essence of their folk roots. Gabo ́s profound knowledge of the folklore and traditional music of his native Argentina and his rich musical experience as a multi-instrumentalist have given his vocal and guitar concept a very mature and sophisticated personal sound. Gabo is currently recording his first solo album.
